Rio Negro Technology connects top engineers from developing countries with companies in New Zealand. But unlike traditional outsourcing, we run on a revenue-sharing model, meaning most of what clients pay goes directly to the developers and their families.
For businesses in New Zealand, this means getting high-quality, vetted engineers who we've worked with personally over several years at much lower rates than hiring locally.
For the engineers, it means they can earn a great income without having to leave their home countries.
Our Story
A few years ago, I was working overseas, meeting incredible engineers from all over the world. Many were some of the smartest, most hardworking people I’d come across.
But no matter how talented they were, they kept telling me the same thing:
"I’d love to work on bigger projects, but there just aren’t enough opportunities back home."
At the same time, I knew companies in New Zealand were struggling to find good developers.
The talent was out there—it just wasn’t reaching the right places.
That’s why I started Rio Negro Technology.
